Better Sanitizer

“Welcome!  What makes our Sanitizer Better?  Many things. According To Dr. James Tindall, PhD”

We have a unique ingredient in our sanitizer that makes it far superior to alcohol-based sanitizers in my opinion. Alcohol-based sanitizers quit killing germs after about 2 minutes when they dry. Ours kills germs up to 3 to 4 hours, until the outer layer of skin cells die! Would you rather have 2 minute protection or 4 hour protection?

There is a massive amount of science behind the active ingredient we use. Our active ingredient has been commonly used as a pharmaceutical preservative and antimicrobial agent since the 1940’s.

It has been around for some time and has been constantly improved through repeated advances in formulations with surfactants that help it stick to the skin better and other components that work in conjunction to help it fight against germs and other infectious organisms.

It is constantly improving! In a 1998 study, by a prominent group of scientists using the FDA protocol, a non-alcohol sanitizer with our ingredient as the active part met all FDA performance standards, while a popular alcohol-based sanitizer did not.

The study, which was undertaken and reported by a leading U.S. developer, manufacturer, and marketer of topical, antimicrobial pharmaceuticals based on quaternary-ammonium compounds, found that their own sanitizer (containing our active ingredient) performed better than an alcohol-based hand sanitizers after repeated use.

A distinctive advantage of our active ingredient, not shared by alcohol-based antiseptics or hydrogen peroxide antiseptic, is that it does not cause a burning sensation when applied to broken skin. Instead, it is actually used as a wound cleaner.

Why do we stand behind our active ingredient?

The compound is especially useful for its antimicrobial activity and is an active ingredient in many useful consumer products.

Our Active Ingredient is Widely Used and Especially Useful for:

* Hand sanitizers

* Wet wipes

* Shampoos

* Soaps

* Deodorants

* Cosmetics

* Active ingredient in surgical disinfection

* Algaecides for clearing of algae, moss and lichens from paths

* Cleaning of Roof tiles

* Swimming pools

* Masonry

* Burn and ulcer treatment

* Ear and nasal drops

* Over-the-counter single-application treatments for cold-sores and fever blisters.

* Skin antiseptics

* Wound wash sprays

* Spermicidal creams

* Spray disinfectants for solid-surface sanitization

* Throat lozenges

* Mouthwash as a biocide.

NOTE: Please be aware that many of the items listed above, the concentration of the ingredient for those products is much higher than for a sanitizer.

SAFETY: Our product can be applied on the skin safely, however, remember to keep it away from your eyes.

A great analogy of how it works:

Think about the tires of your car running over spikes. The spikes rupture and destroy the tires.

As a comparison, many germs are encapsulated by a membrane. Our active ingredient creates microscopic “spikes” when spread on the skin that penetrate a germ’s  membrane and disrupt inter-molecular interactions within it, just like the spikes penetrating the tire.

This causes the dissociation (separation) of cellular membrane lipid bi-layers. These bi-layers make up cellular permeability controls and when disrupted by our active ingredient, cause leakage of cellular contents. This helps kill the germ and some bacteria.

Additionally, enzymes in the germ that handle controlling a wide range of respiratory and metabolic cellular activities, are exceptionally susceptible to deactivation – basically, the active ingredient can "wipe them out." Thus, the critical inter-molecular interactions and related structures in such highly specific biochemical systems can be readily disrupted by cationic surfactants.

Because of this, we use a special surfactant in our sanitizer to help in this process. It’s like how you spray a plant with an herbicide which has a surfactant in it which helps it to stick on the plant for long periods of time. The result is that the solution in our sanitizer is a fast-acting biocidal agent with a moderately long duration of action – up to 3 to 4 hours.

Best of all, our ingredients are active against fungi, protozoa, and a wide range of bacteria (concentration dependent) and germs.

Through continued research, newer formulations with various quaternary-ammonium type derivatives can potentially be used to extend the biocidal spectrum and enhance the effectiveness of this ingredient’s disinfection ability and thus, products.

Formulation techniques of this ingredient have been used effectively in enhancing the virucidal activity of quaternary-ammonium based disinfectants in typical healthcare infection hazards.

"A Green Product"

‍ Should you keep the product on the shelf long enough that it degrades, which could take up to a year or more, it would become what is considered as a “green” product, that would not be considered to harm the environment. It breaks down into CO2, H2O, NH3, and Cl– that can be easily disposed of.

Conclusion:

Based on all of the scientific research through the years, as a formally trained research scientist with degrees in Chemistry, Physics and Engineering, this is a product I can heartily endorse and feel it will be of great benefit to many people.

Keep in mind that we are not making any health claims with this product and we do not say it can be used in the treatment or prevention of any illness.

What we can say is this product has been scientifically proven to kill up to 99.99% of germs on a normal person's hands in normal scenarios for up to 3 to 4 hours, making it a better product than alcohol sanitizer in my opinion.

I believe most everyone can benefit from this superior alcohol-free sanitizer., Says James Tindall, PhD”
